Man those. Swiss SIG's are sweet! I wonder if they're available with a rifle stock?
Sort of...

That "pistol" sure looks like a "loophole" gun if you don't want to
buy an AOW stamp. You know guys are going to buy the shoulder stock.

It's a brace, not a stock!

I understand. When it is sold as a pistol, you get the "brace" but if
you are willing (or even unwilling) to get the AOW stamp, there is a
collapsible or a fixed shoulder stock available,

While that is true, this "brace" could be used another way if you needed
to quickly get something in your sight. The "brace" is ATF approved and
each one comes with a letter.

Like I said, it is a loophole gun. They are exploiting a loophole in
the law to sell a short barreled rifle. So much so that they need to
define the loophole, in case some cop doesn't have that sharp a
pencil.

It's a pistol. If you choose to attach the brace then it's up for
debate. I have an AK pistol, too. Cheap to buy and fun to shoot:

I bought the railed model. It's going for nearly $1000 more already on

the secondary market. I didn't plan to shoot it and bought it for my

collection. My concern is that there is a warranty so maybe I should

put a few rounds through it to make sure all is well. On the other

hand, it would no longer be an unfired gun - outside of the factory. If

the prices don't move up significantly I will keep it forever so that's

less of an issue.

I guess I'll watch the prices during the warranty period and decide what

to do.

Good find and congratulations! If I had decided to keep it forever, I'd be shooting the hell out of it.

True, John. Time will tell.
