Proof that **** happens.

I saw him fly it in that configuration twice a few years back at
Triple Tree in SC. The first time was great, the second time it
folded a wing over the runway doing slow rolls and went in.

In this video it's pretty clear the outboard left engine was failing
(at or near idle), and it just stalled and went in.

Mine's still tits up in the garage. Got to stop this camping **** and
get my airplane fixed up so I
can crash it again.

True. Our last camping trip is scheduled for November. Last year we got
frozen out of it. We'll see
what this year brings.

Summer is a great time for flying because school's out. We use the big
playground behind a local
school.

In 2004 when I got this truck camper, we went to Yosemite in October.
Beautiful with the Aspens changing color. They had installed a group 24
battery when I bought the camper. Ran out of power to run the heater fan
early on. No hookups in the valley. So ice on the walls in the morning.
Upper Pines campground is colder than the Village, and was 23 in the
village. Last really cold camp out. Also have a better inverter/charger
and a group 30 battery now. And a Yamaha Ginny.

We have camped recently down to 43 and pouring rain in November... We
have a tent heater that along with us and the doge gets it up to about
55 in there and we were able to handle that. I am an experienced camper
though, way more layers under us than over

Which ginny, and how loud is it? I'm thinking of a Honda EU 2000, but they run $1000.

Why not?

A lot of the campgrounds here and to the north close during the winter.

There's warmer weather and open campgrounds to the south.

You're right. Three of us are thinking of going to Alabama this fall for some golf on the Robert
Trent Jones trail. https://www.rtjgolf.com/trailguide/rtjtrailguide.pdf

It's still in the 'thinking about it' stage, and it's not my idea. But, it looks like it could be
fun. I doubt if we'd save much money taking the 5er, but at least we could do our own cooking and
know the sheets were clean. Campgrounds in AL aren't very expensive from what little research I've
done.

Yamaha 2000. My buddy who died of West Nile bought two. And the
interconnect kit. I bought one for the $950 he paid. Is about 50db
according to specs. Very similar to the Honda.

I have a truck that cost $45,000 and a camper that cost $10,000 in 2004.
What the heck is another $1000? 4 tanks of gas in the boat? 69 gallon
tank.
