I know a couple links are still dead. I spent the last two weeks







building the "Portfolio Page" and putting in the controls.. The







"Equipment" page took a while too but it has a display script,



inside of







another display script. The Flash presentation on the front page is







"stock" but I did add my own objects and actions to in for another







website I am working with, doing that in Macromedia Flash... Most of



the







adjustments to the site are border and background colors and making







things line up with the Cascading Style Sheets that are the basic



layout







and feel of the site etc... Anyway, the customer really likes the color







scheme but I still have to do a new logo... And ironically, like I said







before the customer speaks English as a second language and hired me to







"communicate" to the customers for them







I took a quick look! Way too many exclamation points! Every sentence



doesn't need one!

mostly put the words in to make everything even and fitting correctly...

Just went in and looked at punctuation... Have some hs english to



remember but I did lose about 90% of the exclamation points, thanks



again for pointing that out...











Punctuation usually is taught in grammar school and maybe junior high,



but not in high school. A high school teacher might correct one's



grammar or spelling errors, but typically wouldn't be teaching the



students grammar or spelling, unless he or she were teaching the



bonehead classes and a certain minimal competency were needed for the



sort of social promotion/graduation you got.



Of course you are right, but as we all know... spelling is the only thing you could do on a project like this. Thanks for the input though







Actually, Scotty, I could write all the text on that site in a way that

would be more informative and wouldn't introduce the sort of spelling,

grammar, and style errors that would embarrass the client or the people

charged with putting the site together.



Obviously you don't realize or appreciate the fact that it usually is

important how the words on a site are spelled and assembled.



So, FOAD, instead of your usual rancorous ****, why not write it and send it?



There's no call for the continuous assholish behavior.





I don't work for free, except for a couple of my favorite charities, and

Scotty isn't on that list. I'm not sure a proper rewrite would make a

difference for Scotty...English is not his client's language.
