He was not found guilty of murder. He should have been.

You liberals are strange. You want lenient punishments, but are so
quick to pronounce guilt.

Lenient punishment? What sort of right-wing chicken bone are you choking
on now? And who is talking about punishment? You are. You are the one
who brought up the possibility of a 60-year sentence. I wanted him
convicted for the crime he committed: murder.

Didn't that charge result in a hung jury? Last I heard the prosecutors
planned on a new trial on the murder charge.

Yes, and yes.

But, there's no need, in the minds of some, for a trial or a jury. He's guilty. Amen.

The bozo shot into a car of teenagers and killed one of them. There is
no disputing that. There is NO evidence whatsoever that any of the teens
were armed with a weapon or even that any of them got out of their car.
Hey, one of them might have said, "**** you, whitey," and I suppose in
Florida that is enough for "whitey" to shoot at them, eh?

You have stated many times that you would have no problem shooting through your front door to
kill someone who you believe may remotely present a threat to you. You are just a wannabe
killer waiting for the oppourtunity.

Invariably when I see reports of vicious sex offenders getting a hand slap, it's from some liberal
judge. The 60-year sentence came from the news,

http://www.usatoday.com/story/news/n...-jury/5501117/

Like I say, you libs are sure quick to judge and convict folks. Do you reckon the jury was just a
bunch of bad Republicans?

I think Florida's dumb stand your ground law has had a major negative
impact on that state, and it manifests itself in many way in murder
cases, even when it is not specifically invoked.

Why are you so ****ed off about Florida's SYG law and not the other 22 states SYG laws? Does
Florida have a special place in your black heart?

Your comment "You want lenient punishments, but are so quick to
pronounce guilt" is, I presume, just a generic "whine" against those who
politics are not like yours.

What do you believe your punishiment should be for killing someone whose only action, not
crime, was to knock on your front door?

Even weirder than the Zimmerman verdict. The bozo shot at the kids in
their car and killed one of them. Second-degree murder at the least. My
guess is that the white members of the jury voted not to convict him of
the murder charge, thus resulting in a hung jury on that charge.

Ah, racism. Should have known. But, even the white folks found him guilty of the other charges.
Maybe they aren't as racist as you think? They could have voted 'innocent' of everything, you know.

I fail to understand why you would even address such a ridiculously
childish and just plain stupid comment...

Sure there is, there is testimony... why do you always have to ask
questions filled with lies? Can't support your point any other way?

Hey, one of them might have said, "**** you, whitey," and I suppose in

Don't know. The jury, all racists as you say, was hung.

But, shouldn't you have him filtered, if he is what you say?

And, just 'cause there's no gun, doesn't mean it wasn't chucked out the window, right?

I don't know much about this and only saw some brief coverage of some of
his testimony and his girlfriend's (think it's his girlfriend) testimony
that basically contradicted much of his.

It struck me that he appeared to have been well coached in answering
questions in a way that would support a "stand your ground" defense.
But there were other things like not reporting the incident right away
and other actions that make me at least question the veracity of his
statements.

Well, based on what I know.. the guy should be locked up for life... Of
course I/we know from the coverage about his letters and such, the Jury
never heard that..

I haven't watched it. Have paid little attention to the news reports about it. I just think it's
humorous for the righteous among us to be judge, jury, and all-but executioner.
