That is a good idea. We have a pond right close to the clubhouse. If the banks were groomed a bit,
it would be very easy to net floaters out of the pond. The drainage is one of those standpipes that
drain when the water reaches a certain height, but the openings could be easily covered with a
screen to keep the balls from being washed away.

What kind of balls do they use? Is there a web site that discusses this for your wife's course?

It makes the water hazards a bit less challenging. Shoot for the lake
and plan in getting an extra 40 yards on your drive.

It also give you the oppourtunity to hit your longest drives on frozen fairways.

take your whole 5 minutes searching for it. If everyone in your group loses a ball every
other hole then you will cause a hell of a back up on the course.

My father in law was cheap and he was determined to find his lost balls.

When I played golf, I normally finished with extra balls. When you drive
to the edge of the fairway, more likely to happen on extra balls.

All the guys I usually play with are retired military, poor in other words. Only one actually takes
out his retriever on certain holes. He doesn't slow the game though. He cleans the balls and donates
them to the high schools for their golf teams.

When I played golf, I normally finished with extra balls. When you drive
to the edge of the fairway, more likely to happen on extra balls.

If you have an enlarged prostate you normally finish with extra balls also.
