We do use our pool.

When I was looking for a house in Florida, I crossed off those having a
pool. No sense having something you don't care about and will seldom
use. If you use it, that's a different story.

Got a bud in St. Pete... He says most of the days when he wants to use
the pool, the temps are 89+ and it offers little relief.

Sorry, I should note he said the water temps in the pool were 89+...
says you don't want to come home in a heat wave after working outside
all day and get in 90 degree water...
