prepping. Don't have the patience for it. Painting is equally boring.

Drywall is up and plastered. I'll sand it tonight or tomorrow, and then
paint it. Came out pretty darned decent considering who did the work.

I paint, but dislike it. Been that way since I was a young kid, helping
mom paint the house. She liked painting. Have a couple spots I need to
touch up, been putting it off for a week now, moved curtain brackets for
the wife, so have to sparkle the holes and repaint the area.

Look in there. These days most of these fans have a NEMA 1-15 plug on
them and you can test the fan itself with an extension cord.
Also try spinning the blade. It may just be bound up. They use oilite
bushings that gum up. A little 3 in 1 oil will get it going but
usually not for long.

There are some real nice DC motor fans from companies like Panasonic
but they ain't cheap. They are quiet with LED lights and smart
programmable sensors. (motion, humidity etc)
