Look in there. These days most of these fans have a NEMA 1-15 plug on
them and you can test the fan itself with an extension cord.
Also try spinning the blade. It may just be bound up. They use oilite
bushings that gum up. A little 3 in 1 oil will get it going but
usually not for long.

There are some real nice DC motor fans from companies like Panasonic
but they ain't cheap. They are quiet with LED lights and smart
programmable sensors. (motion, humidity etc)


Ahh, thanks. Will try. Probably give myself a good heart-starting jolt
in the process. Even if I shut off the circuit!
