Harry's plonk file is merely a crutch. We can reach out and touch him in
an instant. His plonking buys him time to research or think up, what he
thinks, is a clever response. I've seen him go from a nasty, bitter,
self centered, asshole, to a bumbling idiot, over the course of a few
short years. Nevertheless Harry IS Mr. Entertainment for us boating
enthusiasts. What would we ever do without him?


Imagine someone like Harry having a boat in a slip up in Situate and
openly carrying on there the way Harry does here in rec.boats.

He would be booted out by marina management before half the season was
over under demand by his slip neighbors. In the real world nobody
would tolerate his political proselytism for very long.

BTW, Harry says proselytism turns his stomach. Proselytism isn't
limited to attempted conversion of religious views. It also applies to
views or opinions on any subject.




No doubt Harry has his share of belly aches. ;-) It would be funny to
see him booted from the cradle of liberaldom.
