I recently looked into transporting a 27' boat from Maryland to Connecticut
& got a wide range of prices. The high was $1833. A broker for a group of transporters gave me a price of $1100. A company out of the yellow pages gave me the low $695 & negotiable. I was suspicious of the $695 price and asked the transporter to have his insurance company fax me a certificate of insurance. He said no problem but I never received it. My suggestion is to shop around & ask for their insuarance certificate. Marc |
