Don't understand 'whiskey throttle just enough...'. Is that a typo or

bike racing lingo of which I'm

not familiar.

And no, I'm not trying to pull an Eisboch and set you up.

Sorry... As you lose your balance on the way up a big jump face and your

body goes back.. it causes you to draw on the throttle... As your body

goes back, the throttle opens more, and you go back further, etc.... the

bike gets away from you and in this case, climbs a jump face, flys ten

feet in the air without me, and comes back down on top of me I am in

pain... Life is good

You should do that a few more times. Really. If it doesn't kill you, at

least you'll have given it the college try.

I'd be concerned that he has proper medical coverage to protect him and his family while doing risky behavior.

Donnie, why don't you try getting your nose out of Harry's ass for a while?

Now why would you say that, Johnny?
I'm concerned for Snottie's family well being....... you make Harry out to be a do-gooder if that means I'm following in his footsteps.

No don.. you are not concerned at all... you are just pathetic, and
trying to come here and have "wins" you obviously don't get in your home
life... Don't any of you libs, have wives, or lives???

Man, that jawbone has you all messed up today! What does one's political
persuasion have to do with any of this?

Thinking about it...I'd recommend that Snottie stick to mini-bikes, such as what the Shriners use in parades.
At least he wouldn't have to fall as far to the ground and the mini-bike would be a lot lighter landing on him.

Wow, you are brilliant... Again I ask... Is this all you have to do with
your life?

Yup. I had, a long time ago, a little Honda 125. It was an 'on/off' road bike, with knobbier tires
than a street bike. Anyway, I'd take it out to the woods at Ft. Belvoir and just beat it and myself
to death with it. Had a blast. Did the exact thing you're talking about trying to climb up the side
of a steep washout. Luckily I didn't hurt anything but my little finger, and a turn signal or two.
But was able to ride the bike home.

That was back in the early '70s.

Moving a bit better now... We were at a private facility with one of our
Sponsors working on big jumps... I was following along with the guys
(and girl) during the training session and lost concentration for a
minute... I can walk this morning, nothing broken, no dislocated
shoulder (phew, I hate that).. Anyway, time to train... See you in the
gym.... or most likely the hot tub today

"Sponsers" for WHAT? You just said the other day she is an "amateur".

Apparently the family is being sponsored by the Emergency Room.

Let us know when you post the video. ;-)

No vids today It sucked.. didn't look as good as is sounded. I didn't
even "do a cool trick on the way down"...

You just went limp and dropped like a sack of potatoes? I thought you
were a better showman than that. ;-)

I guess... All I remember thinking is "oh ****, the wife is gonna' be so
****ed if I break an ankle"... I got up and rode again though, went
after that jump again too... Got it

===

So just as a matter of curiosity, how do you do that maneuver
*without* the accidental bike launch?

Don't lose your balance... I got my weight too far back on the ramp and
corrected the wrong way.
