Is that a typo or bike racing lingo of which I'm not familiar. And no, I'm not trying to pull an Eisboch and set you up. John (Gun Nut) H. Sorry... Life is good ![]() Yup. I had, a long time ago, a little Honda 125. It was an 'on/off' road bike, with knobbier tires than a street bike. Anyway, I'd take it out to the woods at Ft. Belvoir and just beat it and myself to death with it. Had a blast. Did the exact thing you're talking about trying to climb up the side of a steep washout. Luckily I didn't hurt anything but my little finger, and a turn signal or two. But was able to ride the bike home. That was back in the early '70s. We were at a private facility with one of our Sponsors working on big jumps... I was following along with the guys (and girl) during the training session and lost concentration for a minute... I can walk this morning, nothing broken, no dislocated shoulder (phew, I hate that).. Anyway, time to train... See you in the gym.... or most likely the hot tub today ![]() |
