As your body goes back, the throttle opens more, and you go back further, etc.... the bike gets away from you and in this case, climbs a jump face, flys ten feet in the air without me, and comes back down on top of me ![]() pain... Life is good ![]() Yup. I had, a long time ago, a little Honda 125. It was an 'on/off' road bike, with knobbier tires than a street bike. Anyway, I'd take it out to the woods at Ft. Belvoir and just beat it and myself to death with it. Had a blast. Did the exact thing you're talking about trying to climb up the side of a steep washout. Luckily I didn't hurt anything but my little finger, and a turn signal or two. But was able to ride the bike home. That was back in the early '70s. We were at a private facility with one of our Sponsors working on big jumps... I was following along with the guys (and girl) during the training session and lost concentration for a minute... I can walk this morning, nothing broken, no dislocated shoulder (phew, I hate that).. Anyway, time to train... See you in the gym.... or most likely the hot tub today ![]() |
