How many civilians do you figure we killed when we were enforcing Clinton's "no fly zones". The Iraqis say it approached 50,000, we say it was 10% of that, still a big number. How many children have been killed and maimed in Chicago since the start of Jessi Jackson's war? WHAT the **** is "Jessi Jackson's war?" That jawbone giving you trouble again today? Actually, it is *Jesse* Jackson, not *Jessi* Jackson. I think Jessi is a shortened version of Jessica. Snotty is confused about genders...what a surprise. I know this. |

The Iraqis say it approached 50,000, we say it was 10% of that, still a big number. FDR, Truman and Churchill did not lie us into WW II. There were plenty of lies in the run up to WWII. "I have said this before, but I shall say it again and again and again; your boys are not going to be sent into any foreign wars." - FDR, Speech in Boston, October 30, 1940. Violations of the neutrality pledge. The blockade of Japan etc Cheney and his neocon crowd lied us into wars with Iraq and Afghanistan. And please, let's not have that unfrosted yellowcake again, eh? It was all bull**** so the Bush Admin could say it had a serious response to 9-11. Why did Clinton continue to prosecute the war against Iraq for the entire 8 years he was in office? Was it WMD or was it just to defend Israel? The invasion was simply the logical conclusion to the 10 years we waged war on Iraq. It was only a question of when. Clinton was threatening ground attack for most of the time he was in office. For the record, I would not have even got involved in Kuwait because we did not have a viable exit plan. We were just propping up one of those dictatorships you seem to hate. Powell did have the right idea in 1991 but we did not make the clean break he wanted, Everything else was just the logical end of staying in there. In the end, he was the cheerleader for the invasion. Incredible........ Stick up for Cheney till the bitter end! |

Japan was forced in to war with the USA. We embargoed all oil from them. They were already in a nasty war in China, but FDR forced them to war with us. We violated lots of the neutrality rules in helping Europe/Russia. There were/was other avenues to resolution than war. They weren't "forced" into war, that's the approach they CHOSE. |

We violated lots of the neutrality rules in helping Europe/Russia. Thank you for your entertaining revisionism. The reality is that the Japanese were planning major military actions in Southeast Asia against overseas territories of the Netherlands, the United States and the United Kingdom. At the same time the Japanese were going after Pearl Harbor, they attacked Malaya, Singapore, and Hong Kong. The Japanese captured all three about two months after they bombed Pearl Harbor. Yup. But we were supposedly neutral. Which FDR did not want. He knew if we did what he planned, we would have to be drawn in to the war actively. We were going to be in the war anyway, but FDR made sure. Nothing right wing about it. Is the facts of history. |

They were forced in to war with us! No one in the U.S. government forced the Japanese to attack Pearl Harbor. Further, Japan attacked while it was engaged in negotiations with us. No one in our government forced that on the Japanese, either. |
