John (Gun Nut) H. Why not? It comes with a .38 recoil spring for lighter use! Yeah, you're right. I fire .38s in my revolver all the time. The .357's are too expensive. John (Gun Nut) H. ---------------------------------------------- Yeah, but you have to admit, the .357 magnum makes the .38 round feel and sound like a pea shooter. I like to load my S&W 627 with alternate rounds of .38s and 357 magnums. The great ammo shortage of 2013 seems to be slowly easing a bit and the prices at some places are coming back down out of the stratosphere. I posted this link before, but here it is again. I am shooting the 627 at the range with alternate rounds. The first one is obviously a .38. Then the 357. Turn your sound up for full effect. :-) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UF00rLj8AEY |

Went out in the desert to a cop firing range and he'd load a mix of .357 and .38. Hell of a difference. John (Gun Nut) H. -- Hope you're having a great day! |
