I have it on a fairly level spot to measure how level the trailer is with a 2" drop receiver. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v2...ps59c5dd8b.jpg D'oh... I need to reverse the draw bar so the hitch is 3/4 inches high. I'm struggling with that because I don't have a 1 & 9/16" or 1 & 5/8ths wrench to hold the ball steady while I remove the big 1.5" nut and it's locking washer. I tried my water pump pliers with duct take over the jaws to protect the chrome but it's too slippery. Guess I'm off to Princess Auto to buy a big cheap Chinese adjustable wrench. Trailer looks pretty level to me. Am I missing something? John H. It might be American level but it's probably not Canadian level. ;-) |

Drive to a local garage and give the guy ten bucks to tighten it for you.... or maybe you can just get him a cup of coffee? |

I was up in Detroit earlier this week, and noticed that Horton's has infiltrated up there! Didn't someone see them sneaking in? Speaking of Detroit, what a ******** downtown is. Really interesting architecture, but it's so run down and dilapidated. They really need some leadership to do an "urban renewal". |

The best tool for that is an impact wrench. You can hold the ball with your hand that way I think you're right. I'm sure that's the way they install the complete units at the factory. |

Every once in a while I'll see a program about the architecture of decaying American cities. Too bad...they all seem to have had that big boom period from the 1870's until WW2. Detroit and Buffalo are two examples. |

BTW..I'm in the minority when it comes to Tim Horton's coffee, I find it too bitter. One of the co-founders is from this province and he used to keep one of his motor boats at the Yacht Squadron I sailed out of. |

Bubble is in the lest marked space. They do say that it's better to have the trailer slightly down and tongue heavy rather than up too high. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v2...psb53853ba.jpg The weight on the tongue should be about 8% of the gross trailer weight, and then the trailer should be level - or fairly close.
