Well John, I'd say they've lost interest in boating, in favor of some other pursuit.

I would say that's probably a very true statement. For the money that little boat I had was costing

- depreciation, insurance, maintenance, storage, etc., I can rent a boat for several weeks a year.

Having an extremely handy storage place, like your driveway, would tend to make boating a more

frequent activity.

The last time I sold a boat, I waited about 15 years before getting another. Who knows, maybe this

time it'll be only ten years. We're already planning a weeks vacation with the grandkids at Smith

Mountain Lake next July. I'll rent a pontoon boat for the week or maybe a ski boat.

Of course, if you're not using it, it's best to sell off a depreciating asset.
I did the same with my Sandpiper 565 mini-cruiser sailboat 6 years ago.
I still miss a sailboat but would have to buy one set up for easy solo rigging, launching, sailing and retrieving if I wanted to get back at it.
Did get a bit of the urge at February's boat show which had a new ComPac dealer showing his products.
A couple of the cat boats had me dreaming and now I could tow them with the Highlander.

Talk about a guy who can't see the hand in front of his face. Your ever
so lightly used vehicle and seldom, if ever, used boat fall neatly into
that category. Sell em both. Take a cab. Rent a boat. Use the money you
save to fix up your house.

Why do you persist in your "childlike finger pointing and name calling"

Donnie, how dense are you?
You've been told several times by several people to include some
reference as to what you are responding to.
Even your mentor Harry tried to clue you in. To no avail, I might add.

Don, you have to reference your posts. To whom are you responding and
what did he say?

Hank should know that I'm talking to him.....
I've told him numerous times in the past that the fine residents of Halifax, Nova Scotia are known as Haligonians but he persists in making up his own little names.
