Car AC units have had a low pressure cut out for years. My 83 Firebird
had it.
It took 2 cans of gas to get it going from empty.

Thanks. I never knew that. Actually I don't know much about AC
systems period ....especially in cars. Fooling around with the one
in the little Saturn has been educational.
