Something about them having hips and a lower center of gravity makes for a more stable stance. She had several bull's eyes at 25 yards with the 357 Magnum. Great. It's funny how wives seem to take to shooting quite naturally. My wife and I are going to the range this afternoon. She's wanting to try the Kimber .45 and the Sig P250 9mm. She thinks that P250 is just her size. We'll see how it goes. As to accuracy, the target she brought home last time had every round in the 'kill zone'! I won't discuss the center of gravity issue. I've not got near the courage you do. -------------------------------------------- I've heard the comment about women shooters a couple of times, including by the instructor I took the safety course from. It's why a woman can stand with her back flat against a wall, then bend over and pick up a chair without falling forward. A guy can't do that. Well, at least historically we can't. Maybe some of the modern hybrids are different. |
