![]() Rick I just bought my frist boat and oday 27 and went to my state farm agent and got it with no problem and not alot of money Dave "Rick Thompson" wrote in message ... I'm thinking of buying my first boat and I'm interested in a 36' Hunter. I asked for a quote from United Marine Underwriters, but I was declined due to the size of the boat and no previous boat ownership experience. Does anyone know of an insurance company that will help 1st time big boat owners? Rick |

My 17' motorboat was cheaper to insure with State Farm, but BoatUS got my
business for my 33' sailboat. Art "dave" wrote in message ...
