I have to attend a meeting in June in downtown Philly and the schedule
indicates I will have an entire weekday with nothing official to do between the sessions I will be attending. It's been a long time since I've been up there. I've seen the Liberty Bell. In fact, in my youth I had relatives living in Philly and made at least a half dozen visits to the city to see them and the sights. So, what else is there to see that is unusual, different, compelling? And can you recommend any lunch or dinner restaurants that are worthwhile? I'll be limited to public transportation or cabs...taking the train up there from DC. Thanks for any interesting suggestions. |
