Exactly! I am amazed with these "progressives" who talk about how we all need more diversity and tolerance but do not demonstrate much of it themselves. I haven't any problem with "the religious" doing whatever they do in their houses of worship and in their homes, and in speaking about it in public. It only annoys me when "the religious" try to push their beliefs on the public through legislation or coercion, and who try to use the public's facilities to further their beliefs. The religious are destroying the concept of America. =============== It is inappropriate to mock the closely held religious beliefs of others no matter how much you may disagree with them. It isn't inappropriate to state clearly what I don't like about "the religious." I don't give a damn what they do in their houses of worship, or their homes, or even in their speeches or published papers. |
