I am not sure how effective boycotts are but they are non-violent, legal ways to protest. I agree. |

Was that kevin posting those apples to our discussion of oranges, sounds like him? I love this quote from the second URL: "Whether you call it a boycott or simply a determination that you are not going to support companies which are anti-Christ, you do have a Christian responsibility in this arena. You need to be aware of where your resources are going and what they are supporting. And you need to make a positive decision that you are going to support the things that serve to accomplish the purposes of God." The purposes of God? What a giggle. How would they know? Certainly not from the bible, which is nothing more than a collection of man-written essays edited over the centuries. |

Exactly! I am amazed with these "progressives" who talk about how we all need more diversity and tolerance but do not demonstrate much of it themselves. ===== There's a big difference between being a so called "progressive" and having a significant personality disorder. You've been diagnosed, eh? |

I haven't any problem with "the religious" doing whatever they do in their houses of worship and in their homes, and in speaking about it in public. It only annoys me when "the religious" try to push their beliefs on the public through legislation or coercion, and who try to use the public's facilities to further their beliefs. The religious are destroying the concept of America. =============== It is inappropriate to mock the closely held religious beliefs of others no matter how much you may disagree with them. |
