, to say: Steve, Sounds like you yours was a Mk2 which I would prefer if I had another choice. I was thinking of just using a small thru hull fitting a couple of inches above the water line with some type of check valve. Thanks for the reply. Bruce I guess that would work, although for the thru hull I'd recommend a valve that you can shut. Faced with the unknown such as you are, you might just drill a small hole into the space and see what's in there. Solder a couple of wires to a flashlight bulb, put it into the hole you've made, and look around. |
