Hugo Chávez dead
CARACAS, Venezuela—Hugo Chávez, a politician who used Venezuela's oil riches to pursue his vision of socialism and challenge the U.S., died Tuesday from complications related to cancer. - - - Another dictator dead. Good riddance. If he had been a right-wing dictator, I'm sure the Bush Administration would have supported him. |

Wonder if your little buddy in Connecticut bellied up to that trough? Probably, though he wouldn't admit it. Chavez was pretty much like every other dictator, except he was a leftie. Unfortunately, the United States has a pretty sordid record in supporting right-wing dictators, and that support usually ended badly for us. |
