Default Hugo Chávez dead

CARACAS, Venezuela—Hugo Chávez, a politician who used Venezuela's oil
riches to pursue his vision of socialism and challenge the U.S., died
Tuesday from complications related to cancer.

Another dictator dead. Good riddance.

If he had been a right-wing dictator, I'm sure the Bush Administration
would have supported him.

He stood for everything you believe in, Krause, except for not paying taxes.

Socialist ringleaders tend to get rich while their subjects stay poor.
Why is that? Anyone keeping tabs on O'Bama's, currently small fortune?

Do you mean like Bush running us into a recession because of his need to
kill people in far away lands? Or do you mean like Boehner's congress
making the middle and lower class struggle even more because of their
greed?

I just saw that commercial from CITGO? and One of the Kennedys saying that Chavez had supplied numerous poor Americans with furnace oil.
Wonder if your little buddy in Connecticut bellied up to that trough?

Probably, though he wouldn't admit it. Chavez was pretty much like every
other dictator, except he was a leftie. Unfortunately, the United States
has a pretty sordid record in supporting right-wing dictators, and that
support usually ended badly for us.
