This video shows items in a beige colour that went to black on my 2012 model.

Boat came with a full stand up canvas protection. I upgraded to the Mercury 60 Big Foot outboard,Deluxe Contour swivel seats and galvanized trailer, bought a travel cover, engine cover, transom saver etc.

Nice little fish & ski. Why did you get the Big Foot? They are for

trolling larger boats, sailboats, and pontoons, right? Are your seats

really black?

Both dealer and manufacturer recommended the 60 Big Foot. They claim it's the most popular outboard for my boat.

I've read other articles that also recommend this motor for wide stern boats... and mine does look wide for a 16.5 footer. Kicks up quite a wake at low speeds.

I suppose it provides low end power to get a water skiier up and going

I had a 60 big foot on my boat for 10 years, 3075 hours and it was a

good motor. My 70 Yamaha is basically the same with the same prop. (I

moved it over). I would have bought another 60 Merc but that China

thing bothered me.

What makes a "big foot" a big foot as opposed to just a 60 Merc?

The lower end is bigger...same one as in the next size up 75 or 90.
Also had a bigger flatter type prop. Very noticible if you put the regular 60 and the Big Foot side by side...
Mine makes my brother-in-laws 50 Honda seem puny.

Here's the motor you bought, used appropriately.

I wish Walther made a 9mm in the same size as the PK380.

----------------------------------------

Isn't a "380" just a short version of a 9mm round?

My PPK/S is stamped ".9mm - 380 ACP"

Some info on that question:

http://thefiringline.com/forums/arch...?t-102195.html

Looking at this picture, it appears that only '.380' is stamped on the
barrel. Does yours have both
calibers stamped on the barrel? I don't think I've ever seen that.

However, this picture does show "9mm kurz/.380 ACP" 'Kurz' is German
for 'short', so that's where
the confusion lies.

I suppose you heard about the recall:
http://tinyurl.com/azxw7qu

-----------------------------------------------------------------------

Mine has both calibers stamped on the barrel, but obviously the only
thing in common with a .9mm regular is it's diameter.

I bought mine new .... it was manufactured in August of 2012, so the
issue involved in the recall had been fixed.
Now that I have become more familiar with it, I like it. It's not a
"lightweight" by any means and I like the feel of it in my hand.
The smaller ones are just too small for me to feel comfortable with.

The Walther PPK and it's variants is an old design. It was first made
in 1929. Hitler supposedly used one when he committed suicide in the
bunker, but it is known more as being James Bond's personal handgun
choice.

I wish I could find a place that had several of the various makes and sizes in stock. Everyone's
shelves are pretty bare right now.

It sucks to be you - weather, that is!

Nice boat! Hope you thaw out soon :-)

And since today is a nice, bright, sunny day, I may have to take the Guzzi down to the gun show in
Fredericksburg and see how many non-dealer, unlicensed dealer dealers I can spot out behind the
woodshed.

Actually, my wife wants a smaller pistol. Might try to find a more compact 9mm.

Be sure and jump through the "loophole!"

PS
Seriously consider a .380 for the little woman. My DIL just got one
and loves it. She isn't that girly, but KAHR and Taurus both make a
pink model.

Our place here has a lot in the rental case so you can compare them.
Find a local range that rents guns with a connected range like the one
here, they probably haven't sold their rental stock so they have a few
dozen contemporary handguns right there next to each other that you can
take out and compare right at the counter.

So...you know better than the dealer and the manufacturer combined.
Guess I should have gone to you for advice before I purchased my new boat.
Wait a minute... there is no evidence of you even owning a boat...
