Since when?

I got the impression you rode a bit but didn't race, and your daughter
races, correct?

You're too old and out of shape to be competitive, like me.

LOL... uh, no...

Uh, yes. Name one 50ish motocrosser of championship caliber.....

Yeah, because the ranks of competitive motorcycle racers are full of 50+

year old guys with heart conditions and cancer. I'll look for your name

among the winners at the Isle of Man TT.

Really harry, you don't ride, you don't matter....

You're *not* a competitive motorcycle racer. Period.

He'd consider himself doing good if he was considered useful raking mud on the track....or selling t-shirts to raise funds.

Yeah, I rake mud... and yes, I am in the silk screen business... Why,
what's wrong with that? I am a pretty talented gfx designer, some
weekends last year we did nearly 1000 a day.. much of it going right
back to the kids.. What are you doing with your time don, posting to
usenet? That's hardly positive like helping kids...

You should have been paying your taxes. You know, the one's you now
claim are paid but are not?

There is a joke in there somewhere ;-)

I will take the high road and say is this a "side car" transmission?

No, they tell everybody "he came in first, if you count backwards"...
It's a local joke like my racer number on the front of my bike. The kids
call it my "forward facing speedometer"... uh, my racing number is "000"
LOL!

I'm just teasing about being old. I doubt you're a competitive racer
however.

Not at all competitive, not even in my own class. In my lifetime I
probably have less then 15-20 hours total on a real dirtbike... But I
train, ride and yes, even race. I race the 35+, 40+, or Senior class
depending on the series rules.... At non sanctioned races I jump the
125 C class and race with my kid.. well, I usually see her lap me at
least once:)

Of course not.. I ride and sometimes race to keep an understanding of
the mechanics of riding, hone my skills, and train my daughter. Although
I generally take the "backwards first", I (and my daughter) are known
for very technical form...

Make up your mind. First, you imply you are not too old to be a
competitive racer, and then you agree, you are too old.

I ride, too, and have been riding off and on since college, when I owned
a used Honda "Dream," and then a used Honda SuperHawk. Before that, I
had use of a Lambretta motor scooter. I've had a half dozen or so
motorcycles over the years, including the one I have now.

When I had that first Honda, the "boys" out in Kansas with the
"spiffier," faster Brit bikes would "insult" my bike with its Japanese
cartoonish fenders, but that Dream had it all over the BSAs and Triumphs
because it would start the first time, every time, and it never left a
pool of oil on the ground where it was parked.

I like to watch motorcycle flat track racing once in a while, and when
the Isle of Man TT races are on TV, I watch some of them.

Back in those days, Honda Dream was the scooter of choice of the fairer sex.

Give him a break. After all, Donnie undoubtedly believes all that.
