are out of almost everything in the 9mm, 10mm, and .40 calibers.

I'm about settled on the S&W SD40VE, although the S&W M&P40 is looking pretty good too. The problem
now is finding one in stock somewhere.

One of the smallest compact .45's made. They're a nicely made firearm
and not hard to handle at all.

A .40 would be easy to use.
