And why wouldn't the stream of income from that strip mall provide the funds to pay his taxes?

Thanks for the laugh! Unfortunately, now I can't get The Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald out of my head.

The S&W is much less than half the price of the Sig Sauer. I could get the S&W for about$329, the
Sig for about $860.

What is wrong with this: http://us.glock.com/products/model/g22

And, what is it with a two-tone pistol. They don't have two-tone paint
jobs on cars anymore why does it persist with pistols?

Cost. The S&W is about half the price. And, I'd be buying American?

When it comes to firearms I don't go cheap. I want the best weapon
available.

Well, what makes the Glock that much better than the S&W?

My S&W has some issues with some types of ammo. My Glock doesn't have
those problem nor does my Colt.

Which one is it? I've got two S&W revolvers, neither of which have been a problem. But, then again,
they're revolvers. If I got a new one, it would be a 9mm.

I have a S&W MP9.

I like this one: http://tinyurl.com/3gvoqvj But there are a whole lot of M&P 9's to choose from. I
don't want a compact or subcompact.

====

S&W revolvers are just about the most reliable hand guns you can buy.
The first thing you need to ask however is what is your priority
usage. For target shooting in any kind of timed event you really want
a 22 semi-auto: Ruger III, S&W 41, High Standrd Supermatic, Hammerli,
etc. The best S&W 41s come from Clark Custom Guns:

http://www.clarkcustomguns.com/41swcnmn.htm

Beautiful guns, but out of my price range. I'm not thinking of timed target shooting, or any kind of
competitive shooting. Maybe go to the range for some occasional shooting with son in law or
grandkids. My wife wants me to take a pistol on camping trips. Why, I don't know. But if it makes
her feel more secure, so be it. A basic 9mm with a decent price would do the trick.

I just put '9mm reviews' into Google and got about 6.5 million hits. So I've got plenty to look at.

Not nearly as beautiful as that piece you've got, but it shoots well.

You may want to get one with the external safety.

When breaking it in you will need to have a good grip on the weapon.

Some interesting pistols there. May have to rethink this S&W stuff, unless I get a great deal on
one.

I pointed that site out to you the other day. The CZ-75B is the top
stock gun in 9mm, and the SP-01 variation is even better. Mine is a
further variation from the CZ Custom Shop. You can buy mine for $1150.
It is SAO, ambi safeties, straight trigger, trigger and internal "work,"
low trigger pull.

Here's the video off that site:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature...v=WgDhURHa0OQ#!

Out of the box, it will outshoot S&Ws, Glocks, Rugers, SIGs, whatever.

Best semi-auto pistol I've ever shot, and I owned a Sig X-5, which
supposedly was the best, at a much much higher price.
