et My sister just got a used sail boat boat and the markings on the rope clutches/spinlock are worn badly and she would like to use some type of label maker to re-label them. Is this feasible? Any suggestions would be greatly appriciated. I was thinking of having small plates made at a sign shop. Dymotape (embossed plastic labelling tape), carefully applied to a cleaned smooth surface will work just fine for the relatively short time it will take to get to know the lines without having to read labels (called 'learning the ropes'). I've seen old faded Dymo labels hanging on grimly for two or three years. John |
