It turns out that there is an easy way to post long links without them
becoming broken. The trick is to enclose the link in angle brackets
like this:

http://xfinity.comcast.net/articles/news-politics/20130102/US.Superstorm.Aid/

That way there is no need to cut and paste, use tiny URLs, etc.

I know, but really, I thought that people here were at least competent
enough to take a space out of a link after copying and pasting. But,
alas, they've proven me wrong!

Doubt if he'll do it. He's too lazy to prepare a link that others won't
need to go out of their way, to follow.

Typical Comcast

We?re Sorry
The article you are looking for cannot be found or is no longer
available.

It's no surprise that Loogy hasn't yet learned to present a link
properly.

Gee, I had absolutely NO problems with it. It seems as you do,
though.
I've tried to make it as simple as possible for you, because you've
told
us you can't cut and paste.

The link worked for me. Of course, I use a mac.

If my computer sees a space or carriage return in the middle of a link
it ignores what follows. Links are highlighted so it's easy to see the
mistakes Loogy makes. His links aren't worth more than 1 click, if
that.

-----------------------------------------------------

I posted this before, but I'll offer it up again. If the link is long
and will likely result in a space or carriage return, the original
poster needs only to add a "" before the link and a "" just after
the link. So, instead of this:

http://xfinity.comcast.net/articles/news-
politics/20130102/US.Superstorm.Aid/

which isn't a working link (so you must copy and paste all of it)
you will get a working link like this:

http://xfinity.comcast.net/articles/news-politics/20130102/US.Superstorm.Aid/

(The reader doesn't see the "" or the "")

The advantage is that it is not necessary to open a browser to paste
the URL. If I click on a complete link from Microsoft Live Mail, it
automatically opens a browser (Firefox in my case) and goes to the
linked URL.

He has been told that several times. I don't know why but he is only
here to see how much time he can get you to waste, making you put the
links together is just another part of that.

Such a narrow twit.. You know, some folks readers might be different
than yours.. Mine will not copy and paste a broken line in one shot, it'
takes each line separately... If you would just put the ****ing arrows
in, we could all just click on the ****ing thing, you stupid as ****,
idiot... that is those of us who still think you may put up a relevant
link someday...
