Kind of like when everyone thought the government was listening to every phone call in the U.S. === They don't have to listen to every phone call since they have a wealth of information on which calls might be of interest. Speech recognition software has gotten so powerful that all they have to do is run computerized spot checks for key words and keep close tabs on suspects. |

Gee, how come not one single politician on the right said, "we are not going to allow voting on the bill because of the pork in it"??? They don't have TV in that bubble you live in? There were plenty of politicians complaining about pork in H.R.1, including Boehner. Bull****. You must not actually watch the news. Cite? Here is the NPR article, someone you might believe. Read what Ryan, Coburn and Mc Cain say. http://www.npr.org/templates/story/s...ryId=168223319 Bloomberg even pilloried H.R.1 and his city was hit the hardest. Whoa!!! YOU said that BOEHNER said such..... I saw him saying it on CNN. I am pretty tired of trying to find everything you missed on the news. Yeah, sure.... |

If it has your picture on it, you can in Florida. I have used my Sam's card before Bull****! From: http://election.dos.state.fl.us/gen-faq.shtml#link1 What kind of identification do I need to bring to the polls? When you go to the polling place to vote, you will be asked to provide a current and valid picture identification with a signature. Approved forms of picture identification a Florida driver's license; Florida identification card issued by the Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles; United States passport; debit or credit card; military identification; student identification; retirement center identification; neighborhood association identification; and public assistance identification. (Section 101.043, F.S.) I returned something to HD my wife bought on line because she didn't like it. The return desk has a digicam there, taking snaps of everyone who comes to the store to return something. I imagine the fraud department gets a good look at everyone returning things. Yeah, probably millions per day, and they check every single one against a picture...... That's why they have computers. And just what do you think they do with that gold mine of information? You are starting to sound like Ron Paul!! They will have a profile on people they suspect of bring stolen merchandize back to stores and they do prosecute. I know Home Depot uses their surveillance for all sorts of things My wife has a commercial account there and they have asked her all sorts of things about her shopping patterns in a survey. It is clear they were watching her, tracking her path through the store.. She was in a scuffle in the parking lot and the next time she walked into the store the manager was on her in about a minute, asking if she was OK. That sounds like facial recognition to me. The casinos have been doing it for years. Yeah... sure.... That's odd, I've been going to the same Home Depot for 17 years. Several of my associates have commercial accounts. The only difference when we go there between they and I is that they have the luxury of 30 net. ----------------- And they may not buy that much. Two of them are contractors buying there on a daily basis. |
