Yeah, 18 babies ripped to pieces and you are looking to score points in
a news group. What a ****ing coward..

Score points? No, I want to change minds about gun "rights" and how
deadly weapons should be managed in our society.

Glad your kid wasn't among the dead.

Well? How should deadly weapons be managed in our society?

I'm not a political or religious leader. I expect those who lead our

We glorify war, we're arms dealers to the world, we love to solve our
problems in this country with violence and bravado. It's everwhere in

Thinking that a violence-addled country can handle the free trade of
weapons and ammo is just ****ing nearsighted and foolish.

We need a dialogue with responsible members of society. Not the brain

How about, brain stem idiots like yourself who will use any means
possible to make everyone else live up to your standards, is exactly why
the rest of us need guns...

Yeah, every grade school kid should have to have a sidearm to go to
school, right? Idiot.

The United States has the most violent society in the modern western

It's due to the European influence in our population. Just look at the demographics of our prison

Maybe I missed something in John's post, but I didn't see anything
'racist' in it. Maybe I didn't look hard enough...

You didn't. It was implied. Sometimes John the Racist tries to be
subtle. Tries, but doesn't succeed.

John is so anti teachers' union, I'm sure every September he went to the
superintendent and insisted that his pay and bennies be cut to levels
they would have been without the teachers' union pressure for increase.
Right?

Being anti-teachers union is not the sole domain of John. The teachers
unions have been screwing the children of this country for 75 years. The
teachers and their unions are only concerned with getting higher pay and
preserving their jobs. Why does a first-grade teacher need tenure? Why
does a high school teacher need tenure? Elementary and secondary schools
are not known for their research and thus tenure is not an issue.

Krause is riding a dying, if not dead, horse. Michigan, with one of the
strongest unions, went Right To Work. Lets see how that affects future
union contracts.

Yeah, you guys just can't wait until we can force 10 year old kids to
work in slave shops for next to nothing, in deplorable and dangerous
working conditions. All children and adults in the household having to
work that way just to eat and keep a roof over their heads.

Maybe you can't read between the lines, but if the knife wielder
wanted those kids dead. They would be.

And just what does that tell you about the difference between our two
societies and American's ability to handle weapons responsibly?

We are a nation of desperate people, with no national mental health
system (thanks to Reagan) a diminishing income vs. expense rate and a
society that promotes violence as a justifiable means to resolving
conflicts.

Think making guns real available is a good idea?

Great. Start the discussion. What would be your solution. You shouldn't have to be a religious or
political leader to have an idea about weapons management in our society.

Actually we do need a real discussion. Too many are like you, blaming
guns. It is what is causing all this violence that should be discovered.
You are not going to limit guns. Use Mexico for an example. There is only
one gun store in the country. You want to buy a firearm? Buy it from the
army. You want ammunition? Buy it from the army. See How that has limited
firearms and violence. This young man doing the shooting was an honor
student, and the teacher was his mother. Why did he decide a group of
children had to die along with Mom? That is the questions we need
answered, not how to limit firearms.

He had his mother's guns. He had mental problems.

----------------------------------------
So? Why did he have the insane desire to kill a bunch of small, innocent
children? That is what we need to discover. Why so many more are going off
the deep end. Is it all the additives in the diet? Too many people
congesting an area? Why?

You're right, you're not a doctor.

Possible causes in the literature of ADD:

nutrition and food factors, such as a lack of omega-3 fatty acids
genetic factors
brain injuries
environmental, such as maternal smoking while pregnant, or exposure to
various toxins
weak internal brain "white matter" connections.

But not video games.

mental problems probably can be a result of such activity.
