The mid-west drought brought the water levels in the lakes to a dangerous level. Oh, I probably could have taken the little 18 footer out, but I didn't want to risk ripping up another lower end... The 13 footer, would have been guaranteed destruction. I just called the marina to see if I could bring my boat in today. They are taking nothing until after Hurricane Sandy (named after my wife!). They're on the Potomac River and are really worried about a tidal surge flooding the whole damn place. Hope all remains well with them. |
