I don't like politics. I don't like insulting people, especially people I

sake of argument, I don't like ganging up on other posters, I don't like
nasty language.

I have the feeling I have chosen the wrong group in which to waste a
little free time. I haven't done a survey and I won't, but my gut tells
me that about 90% of the posts in here are attacks on other posters, on
politicians, on where one stands in the political spectrums.

Is that the fun part?

What's your point?

That attacks on or insults of other posters seem to be the fun here rather
than friendly discussions.

You can thank Harry Krause for trying to set that tone 15 years ago. It's
been an ongoing effort but it really didn't take hold till about five
years ago. As was pointed out to you a while ago, there are sailing and
paddling groups that might suit you better, unless, of course you are an
anonymous troll who likes to stir up rec.boats.

Are you referring to the Harry who posters say no longer posts here? So his
ghost is responsible for the current crop of insults? Something to think
about.

One and the same. He was disgraced and left with his tail between his
legs. Bankruptcy foreclosure on a very modest bungalow and tax evasion
took its toll on the poor fellow who tried to make us believe he was
something he's not. One has to wonder why you have taken such a liking
to this group?

This isn't a "looking for soulmate" type of place.

You're either Harry or Crazy.
Go to a moderated group if you want decency.
Everybody here is indecent, or here because of old habit.
No sane person would come here otherwise.

You can call me Ray. I am not a harry or a crazy, just a reasonable guy.
Sorry to disappoint.

Bull****, you lying ****.

Very true words. Yet, there is another reason. Some come here to see
the boatless political idiots dance on the string offered. If one
can't enjoy some boating content, one can certainly enjoy playing the
idiots against each other. For example, this week, they think I am a
liberal.

Oh, well. It IS entertaining when I have nothing better to do.

Carry on.

Dont think that anyone here gives ONE **** about you, me, or ANYone
else. Take your political ****, and re-pack it up your ass with your
index finger, dip****.

===

As dysfunctional as this group appears to be at times, there are
always people here willing to discuss boats, so post away.

What kind of boat do you have or want to have?

Where do you use it?

What kind of boating do you prefer?

On the other hand, if you're just here to stir the pot, we have plenty
of candidates for that position already - past, present and future.

Why DO you "call others by name" then? Oh, and IF you really knew
anything about IT and could read header information you'd know this guy
isn't Harry. But then, don't let your logic get in the way of your
insanity.
