The argument that arming more people will result in a safer public is

People tried to make this argument about Colorado. As if 20 people
armed in a theater would have helped the situation. If anything, more
people would have died or been injured.
This evidence won't matter to the gun nuts. They'll carry on using

T he cops are responsible for killing 1 man and wounding 9 others when
the two cops started shooting. They should be given expert marksmanship
badges for firing off 14 rounds and hitting 10 people.
I hit a deer with my car many years ago and the cop that showed up for
the accident report had to kill the injured deer that was laying on the
side of the road with a broken leg. From less than 50 feet away he
missed it and it took a 2nd shot to kill it. The police certainly need
more firearm training - I could have hit it one-handed at that range.
