I have no interest in your paragraph after paragraph of lies... Proud of a short attention span? I should put you in touch with one of my daughter's friends, the quadriplegic ex-motocross racer who's had one complication after another and recently had a lung removed. Why, do you think we don't know what can happen in our sport? What a ****ing asshole... |

But really, do you think we don't know? I have been to several fund raisers already this year and it is what it is. But there are ways to mitigate the possibility of injury, one is to ride smart. Jess was running second and third in the NESC early this season, but couldn't stay on the bike at that pace so she got smart and backed off about 4 seconds a lap... Now we have dropped out of the series to go back into seclusion and do some more work so we can come back stronger and faster next time. |

If it were true, there never would be any serious accidents involving really professional motor racers because they surely know how to mitigate the possibility of injury. That your kid couldn't stay on her bike while trying to be competitive *after* all these years of riding should be a clue, eh? No offense to your kid, who is probably trying as hard as she can. |
