that they are entitled to the same compensation and benefits as
skilled tradesmen such as machinists, welders and electricians, not to
mention professionals like teachers and nurses.


Perhaps the answer is that we grossly underpay skilled tradesmen and
professionals such as teachers and nurses. We certainly overpay most
executives at larger corporations; the ratios between top execs and line
workers are obscene.

Maybe you should bend Dr3Xs boss ear and tell him that her salary is
outrageous for a common social worker. I'm sure she wouldn't mind taking
a $100k pay cut for the good of the skilled brick stackers.
