Borrow a basic paddling book or video from the public library. That will
explain how to make the canoe go in a straight line and how to get it to turn. Until you can do that stay away from currents, wind, and waves. Balance is important but its not as hard as learning to ride a bicycle or to use a skateboard. Later you'll find it easier to paddle into the wind and current so you can turn around and have the wind and current with you as you paddle back to the starting point. Have fun. -- ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ William R Watt National Capital FreeNet Ottawa's free community network homepage: www.ncf.ca/~ag384/top.htm warning: non-freenet email must have "notspam" in subject or it's returned |
