I do all the work on the bike. We did a top end with piston, rings,
valves (shop cut valve seats and honed piston) and a few other minor
parts. She did 90% of the work with me offering guidance on spoooging
the thing with oil and I used the torque wrench. She did the rest from
sliding the cylinder over the piston, to lining up the timing chain
and cams. The thing starts first kick, I am very proud of her and we
saved almost 600 bucks doing the job ourselves... Now, back to the
filter with you pig boy, go clean your yard...

Cool. I love doing top ends!
Nice when she fires right up too!
Don't expect the fleabaggers to understand this!

Those so called fleabaggers don't have any appreciation for the
satisfaction do it yourselfers get from completeing a task without
having to pay someone to do it.

It was comical... The two of us in full panic attack mode for about 4
hours But we did it, and it's been running fine, starting with a kick
or two for over a week now and that's a lot of engine on time for us...

Hey, I had to have a new handle. If I used my old one, everyone would
