That's a book about building stitch-n glue kayaks, not strip kayaks.

I haven't read Ted Moore's "Kayak Craft" but I have read his book on
building cedar strip canoes and it's quite good.

Nick Schade's "The Strip Built Sea Kayak" is IMHO the strip built kayak
bible. However, there are lots of different techniques in the construction
that are worth looking at. For example, I built a box-beam strongback and
used risers every foot instead of the thru-form box beam that Nick
advocates. I've got a binder of print outs from web pages (including the
One Ocean pages) that has a wide range of techniques one might use.

Nick's bulletin board is also an valuable source of information.

Ross Liedy used to have a really good site the chronicled boats that he
built but the URL I have doesn't work any more.
