Wait a minute...wasn't that a "bad" idea? Wouldn't it have been better
(for the GOP) to toss hundreds of thousands of factory workers out of work?

Yes, it would have saved us from having to pay out pension and
benefits to people who vote for the Democratic party.

And, because they pay taxes, it kept more money flowing into the
federal government, which makes Republicans go crazy!!!
