Good thing we still have an auto industry
GM sold about 25,000 Cruzes last month, vaulting the model past perennial leaders such as the Toyota Camry and Honda Accord to become the best-selling car in the U.S. Both Toyota and Honda had fewer models to sell because of parts shortages caused by the March 11 earthquake and tsunami in Japan. |

Wait a minute...wasn't that a "bad" idea? Wouldn't it have been better (for the GOP) to toss hundreds of thousands of factory workers out of work? -- Want to discuss recreational boating and fishing in a forum where personal insults are not allowed? http://groups.google.com/group/rec-boating-fishing |

Yes, it would have saved us from having to pay out pension and benefits to people who vote for the Democratic party. And, because they pay taxes, it kept more money flowing into the federal government, which makes Republicans go crazy!!! |

I think it is becoming obvious to the smarter independents that the Republican game plan is entirely cynical and built upon the idea of stopping whatever the government can to to encourage employment. The Republicans think raising the misery index will put them back in the White House. On a brighter front, Michele Bachmann is now leading the Iowa GOP caucus poll. :) -- |

It would certainly benefit the economy to have even more people unemployed, according to the right-wing. |
