If you are interested in making the move with us, let me know. If you
are on Facebook, I can email you an invite. If you are not on Facebook,
it is easy enough to sign up and it doesn't cost anything.

I've set the group up there but at the moment it is just a shell. It is
Recreational Boating& Fishing

Appreciate your feedback.

Thanks!

Well, I haven't really participated... just signed up. Also, I don't
want to set up a fake Facebook, and I don't want to use my real one...
so, I guess, no, but don't use my vote as the tie-breaker.

Got your email, btw... thanks.

No sweat - we're still in the "experimental" stage. The group, however,
is in the "secret" category on facebook, so that only members can see
who else is a member and only members can see the posts of others.

The rule is the same as the one on google groups...no insults.

I'm a facebook newbie. I have about 30 "friends" so far, and so far,
none of the people whose posts I read behave like "the Canucks of
Rec.Boats." It's very light and pleasant, and sometimes very funny.

Doubt you are the master of the group. But facebook is full of dead
groups. Just more harryk BS.

Master of the group? What the hell does that mean?

I set up a group on Facebook called Recreational Boating & Fishing.
I am the administrator of the group.

I didn't say I've got 30 people in the group. Right now, it is
experimental, with only a couple of members. I have about 30 friends on
Facebook, as I stated, mainly friends I've known for a long time, in
some cases more than 50 years.

None of my Facebook friends are assholes. They're all nice people,
unlike you.

This is an asshole ID Spoofer who is trying to steal my boating and
fishing group. Anyone who want to post photos can use any of the photo
site available. Ignore this right wing asshole and he might go away.

Uh-huh. Since you aren't one of my facebook friends and aren't a member
of the boating discussion group, you are once again demonstrating your
ignorance and stupidity.
