have cooler weather for the rest of the week... *At this venture low

We finally, yesterday, had a thunderstorm come through that came over our place. Got more than an
inch of rain and today is quite nice. Of course this weather isn't coming your way.

Today I get to sit in the dentist's chair for another root canal. Lots of shots in the roof of my
mouth. Gotta love it, especially the shot between the top teeth and the top lip. That's just a great
place to have a needle stuck in your body.

Gettin' old is such a joy.

Well, at least you still have teeth to be rooted! I've had a shot on
that same place and it's a real winner! makes you feel like you
getting electrocuted.

Glad you finally got some rain, John. then hopefully a cool front will
come through and the grass will take off.

in the next couple of days it's supposed to get boiling hot again
here... Eh...it's almost August.

Well, the dentist couldn't do this one. That makes two attempts this week on different teeth.
Neither was successful. Go to a specialist Monday for *two* root canals.

But, I'd rather have a root canal than drive I-95 to Richmond on a Friday afternoon!

Oh, went to the orthopod guy today. No golf or frisbee throwing for at least a month. Crap, I'll
probably put on 30 lbs. Speaking of weight, how's it going. Haven't heard anything lately.

It's a 'tennis backhand' which is what starts 'tennis elbow' when not done properly. Apparently I've
not been throwing the damn frisbee properly either. Oh well. **** happens. I'll just have to add
about three miles to the dog's daily walks.

Overtons?

I looked at Overtons as well as about any other big chain marine store
and still didn't see what I'd like, so I guess it's plywood and
carpet. Thanks for the suggestion, though.

You could also consider some sort of vinyl wall covering instead of,
or in conjunction with carpeting.

Thanks Harry, but the dock boxes are way to big for the inside of my
boat. I was looking for boxes to hold a seat on top and possible a
cooler/ storage inside. that company in Australia makes some pretty
good looking stuff that is designed well, but I haven't sen much of
anyone who distributes their products in the US or a competitor that
makes those items here. I'm sure their out there, but I haven't found
them yet. and I've noticed on some other forums where people are
complain of the same search as well. So, it looks that we'll have to
make our own.

Nice thought though.

Thought about that too Wayne, But I think that carpet would be the
better idea. at least it would go uniform with the floor, and maybe
provide a bit of external insulation for the cooler container.

reply:
The aluminum jet boats use aluminum boxes. Unfortunately they are about
$400. You could ask your local sheet metal shop what they would charge to
bend the sheet and make one. Also, how about using a heavy duty cooler box.
