My old Winner 24 had the seats on boxes and there was a lot of storage space inside of each. * There was also a fold down foot rest on the front of each box which was at a comfortable height. * You might be able to get some low rise swivel seats which would be a nice touch. Wayne, we're thinking of taking the pillars off the original seats and putting swivels on them then mounting to the top of a box. only thing is, I'm sure someone makes a 'locking' swivel out there, but just gotta look for it. I suppose. Like this? http://tinyurl.com/6cpelkf Yeah, that's the idea John, but that's gonna be too tall regardless of how much of the assembly we don't use. I'm thinking on mounting the sweats solid. No need for a swivel actually.. |

Nice to have the swivel seat after you anchor up so you can face the passengers and join in the fun... -- Team Rowdy Mouse, Banned from the Mall for life! True, but my wife's idea of having fun (especially on a river cruise), is park the boat and head immediately to a motel for shower, book reading and HBO! |

Anybody know where you can get something like this. Here in the USA?
And doesn't cost 3 arms and two legs? http://boatseatboxes.com/ |

There are still a few knowledgable guys who check in there once in a while. I was thinking that you might be able to adapt a small dock box but prices have gone through the roof for them. Best bet is probably to build something out of plywood if you or a buddy have cabinet making skills. |

Oh yeah, we can build them but I liked the idea of the pre-formed and If could be found reasonable, I'd think that would be the ticket. http://www.lasvegaspix.com/projects/...s/IMG_1953.jpg the guy did a stunning job on the Sleekcraft Executive, and here's the final outcome of his cooler seat box. |
