A similar character, not a prophet but a barbarian called Mohammad decided to adapt the religion to include governance and specific ways of daily life and thus began Islam to unify the peasant people against invaders. Works pretty good to this day too as it is marriage of state, family, law and fascism via passive resistance and infiltration. Nice brainwashing. Which is really what religion is about. Religion has for centuries been used by the powerful and sociopath leaders to be a method of managing the herd. Nothing more. Man has so screwed up religion it is just a huge fraud. But religion is good for those that cannot cope with a wider universe, larger realities and still think the universe rotates around Jerusalem. Think, the Catholic church once thought the world was flat and persecuted those who thought differently. Heritic one day, saint the next. More like mafia gives money, sin for six and repent for one. A homage tax for sin relief. Not much different for Islam, I get the harem and the peasants support me in the name of Islam... All about herd control. You know nothing about faith and compassion, which is the essential message of Jesus, Mohammad, the Buddha, etc. Compassion or stupidity?
