Default Need to pump ****?

It appears to be a portable pumpout...the kind some marinas roll down
the docks to service boats in their slips. I wonder how it turned up as
military surplus...

I have a sewage pump called Keco PUMP-A-HEAD for sale. It is designed
to pump ****, etc from boats holding tanks into the marina holding
tank. Works great. Has four casters, a key, brakes, works from 115V,
etc etc Passes 1/5" diameter solids, can run dry indefinitely.

Empties a 6 gallon bucket in 15 seconds or less.

It is from the great lakes military recreation center. It is for
real. It works, as most military surplus stuff does. They get an
allowance every year, if they do not write off old stuff/get new
stuff, then thy get their allowance cut.

I can see why you might need to unload the thing.

You probably need something a little more "heavy duty".

This thing would work great, mounted in a car. Imagine the effect it would
have on a tailgater!

Since it only sucks waste out of a tank on a boat into its storage tank,
you'd have to modify it.

There are a number of pumpout equipment mfrs that make portable
pumpouts. Keko (out of CA) has been around a while...their equipment is
pretty decent.

Igor, you're advertising this thing in the wrong place.

That's not just an old used crap pumper. Heck no. That, my man, is a *business
opportunity*. Sell it to some poor schmuck who just imagines the docks are
lined with desparate boaters unable to locate anybody to pump their tanks, and
are willing to fork over a fortune for the service.

"You too can retire to sunny Detroit and live a life of luxury working just a
few minutes a day. Your customers can't "wait" to use your services. Guaranteed
potential for frequent repeat sales! Never a shortage of demand, regardless of
economic conditions! Call Igor at 599-599-5999. Initial equipment and 84-month
franchise agreement available at juist $199 a month. Hands on training
included."

(Kind of like the $100 apple. Won't be too many takers, but then again you
won't need too many, either).

Truer words have never been said Chuck. That pump is equipped with a
slot for quarters, I assume that you could pump a little **** if you
drop in a quarter. Kind of like a public laundry. So it truly is a
business opportunity, you leave the pump in the dock and come every
evening to collect the quarters (and ****, I suppose). Perhaps some
enterpreneurs may be interested.

Not quite... Historically, the solids that need to be pumped in DC are more
than 1/5"...
