I was there, I saw it for myself. The Union Management sold us out to the company, period... It's what they do, suck from both sides until they both bleed out. Union is like rent-a-cops, not really management but pretenders. Just another layer of tyrants and pig heads. One manager is enough and easier to manage up. Probably why I always preferred working non-union. Few union droids realize the management principles behind unions. And it is managed. But ends up just being another tax off the check at the end of the month. I used to get a kick out of the hypocrisy too. Buy American, yet some people I knew who worked a Chrysler in Racine, I might bump into them at Walmart talking about their rice rockets. What a joke. Yup, like my dad.. Worked for a grocery chain the last 40 years, and would drive half way across town to buy at that chain even if another was closer or even cheaper. "As long as they are paying my paycheck" he would say. As soon as he retired, he started "trying" other places until Finast finally was broken by the union and sold to a scab company in Canada... -- Team Rowdy Mouse, Banned from the Mall for life! |
