They're seeking help by busting down the front door instead of knocking
on it or ringing the doorbell? You live in an interesting neighborhood.

Your interpretation of their motives will be examined.

You obviously have difficulties with plain English. A home invader is
someone who forces his way into your house in order to do you harm.

Do you have a lot of people forcing their way into your house?

We have police officers living in our neighborhood. It helps that the
park their cruisers on the street.

Go back to high school and learn how to read for comprehension.

You need to get some common sense and stop your obsession with killing
people knocking on your door.

And once again, you demonstrate your inability to comprehend what you
read. We're not talking about those who knock on the door or ring the
bell. D'oh.

You are obsessed with killing a home invader. Your downfall is going to
be how you perceive the intentions of the alleged home invader. If an
idiot happens to walk into your house you have stated that you are going
to shoot them first and ask questions later. I am just pointing out that
your kill first and ask questions second plan of action may result in
your being charged with, tried for and convicted of premeditated murder.

As I said before, enjoy your time in prison.- Hide quoted text -

I had a big guy in a dark overcoat trying to enter my house a few
years back, I ejected him from the front porch at the end of a
baseball bat. When the cops got there I found out he was a mental
patient that had wandered off from a local facility. Sure glad I
didn't shoot him... If Harry ever gets a chance he will surely shoot
the poor guy but I am not a coward hiding under my desk, I can defend
my home without killing anybody...

Self praise stinks.

Pretty funny coming from you Harry...

Save that post. That's a classic.

Maybe you should break into his house and see what happens.
Let us know, or arrange for someone to let us know.

There is nothing in Harry's landlord's house that I want, need or
desire.

A good learning experience for home invader wanna-be's who want
to teach
other posters here "a lesson," Ingersoll?
You, of course, fantasize about people invading your home so
that you
can shoot them. Should your dream materialize, you would likely
spend
the rest of your miserable life at Graybar Hotel.
Well, like you said. If he ever shoots anybody I will be the
first one
at the prosecutors office with his threats and dreams and
ambitions to
shoot a perceived home invader...
I sure do hope he comes to his senses before he hurts someone.
Well, he dry fires in the house and is scared to death to walk
outside.
So unfortunately it will probably be he or his sister/landlord that
gets
shot...

You're really a moron, Ingersoll. Proper handgun handling is an art and
it requires practice, practice, practice. Part of that practice is
handling, disassembling, and dry firing your semi-auto pistol and
learning how to quickly and safely removed stove-piped rounds,
misfires,
et cetera, which you can do with non-firing practice/dummy rounds. I
spend several hours a week doing that, indoors, in the house, and
during
my once-a-week/every other week visits to the firing range.

The rest of your post is just more of your idiotic nonsense.

You cannot become proficient at shooting by going to the range once a
week or once every other week.

Dry firing, even into snap caps, is not a substitute to firing actual
rounds.

There are many aspects to "proficiency" with semi-auto pistols.

I shoot well enough for my purposes and for the sorts of competitions
I enter. At 25 yards, I can put 10 rounds into a circle about the size
of a softball with my 9 mm and .45 CZ's. With my revolvers, the circle
is about the size of a honeydew melon. At closer distances, the circle
is smaller. I'm sure that is far better than you shot with a sidearm
when you were a marine. I'm pretty good with shotguns and my .22 LR
rifle. I have very little experience with larger caliber rifles.

The "handling" practice I do has prepared me to quickly clear problems
with firearm mechanisms or faulty rounds.

I think I'm proficient enough with firearms. Sport shooting is only a
part-time hobby for me.

I hope so. Those are lousy groups for 75 feet.
